JavaScript is the world's most popular programming language. JavaScript is the programming language of the Web. JavaScript is easy to learn. Alongside HTML and CSS, JavaScript is one of the core technologies of the World Wide Web. Over 97% of websites use it client-side for web page behavior. Most web browsers have a dedicated JavaScript engine or JavaScript virtual machine to execute the code. Different engines have different names For example: V8 – in Chrome and Opera. SpiderMonkey – in Firefox. How it Works? The engine (embedded if it’s a browser) reads (“parses”) the script. Then it converts (“compiles”) the script to the machine language. And then the machine code runs, pretty fast.
